We are quiet, read books, watch movies, ride bikes, crochet and sleep late kind of people.
Wild nights for us are watching the antics on Jersey Shore....
I've never been to a club,
and have only been to a bar once.
So it's no surprise that Zach and I had never really danced.
I mean we have joked around and pranced around
in the security of our home,
but we had never really shared a dance...
until our wedding reception.
I told Zach I didn't want to dance,
we didn't have a DJ or a band,
we just had a sound dock, an iPod and our favorite songs from our "reception" playlist.
Most people don't understand how crazily nervous I get in social situations,
so when Zach asked me to dance in front of everyone...
I thought I was going to faint.
He had one of our friends play "our" song
and we danced for two minutes, clumsily and with me sobbing like a baby.
I dreaded this moment for so long,
but looking back it was the best moment of our whole wedding experience.
Zach and I had already exchanged Valentine's Day gifts
(we always give gifts way too early because we are too excited)
so this was a total surprise.
Zach told me where he had hidden it while he was at work (I thought)
but he was actually watching from the window as I opened it :)
While my new necklace is amazing,
the best part was the card.

came straight from the song we danced to at our reception.
