Obsessed

Lately I can't stop researching Blythes!

I want a Blythe so badly!

I'm going to buy one soon,
but I need help customizing her.

If anyone can lead me in the right direction
I would love it sooooo much!

I've contacted a few customizers on Etsy
and no one wants to message me back!

Grrrr!

PS I don't want to do it myself,
I'm scared I'll mess her up :(

  4. www.onepearlbutton.com is really into customized Blythe. You could ask her. There was also a blog that I think is now defunct, but it was this girl who lived in Memphis and customized Blythes as a hobby and blogged about it. I realize that saying that is kind of like saying, "I'm looking for a book, it had a blue cover. You know the one?" LOL but I think her name might have been Mel. Anyone know who I'm talking about? She was also obsessed with Kid Cudi.

  5. Blythes are the only dolls I don't find creepy for some reason, hah. The one with the peter pan collar dress is adorable!!

This site helped me a lot when I bought a broken Blythe from ebay. Congrats on getting your first girl. So exciting!

  9. Sorry... I just read that you don't want to do it yourself. The forums at This is Blythe have info on customizers and also check out Bad Dolly Deals to read about which customizers and sellers you don't want to deal with.

  10. I share your love of Blythes and would love to own a proper sized one. I have a miniature one which I found out of shear luck! I named her Cookie!
All I can say is keep searching and I am sure one lovely doll will be available to buy soon. Unfortunately it is even harder to get them in the UK and I don't really want to import them as it costs a bloody bomb! I hope you find your perfect doll soon :)

  12. These are cute! I keep seeing them everywhere. It's just a doll for grow ups? Haha I would be scared of ruining her or hating what I did. I hope you find one you love!

I carved and sand matted mine already. I am going to change out the eyes and hair on 2 of mine this coming week. One is going to have pink curly hair and the other mint green straight hair.
