Update on Surgeon's Surgery

Well I took Surgeon to the vet,
they said that he was probably not bitten by a snake,
but scratched by another cat or animal.
I never would have imagined a small insignificant scratch would lead to this!

I didn't take pre-surgery pictures because I was just so worried
it didn't even cross my mind.
Just imagine though...
his head was TWICE the normal size!

His poor little head was filled with infection,
they had to sedate him and put tubes in his head,
as well as remove some decayed flesh.

I can't believe that one day he could be just fine
and within two days a minor scratch could manifest into such an ordeal!

Well, here are some post- surgery pictures...

not for the weak!

He is doing well.
I don't think he is in any pain other than it being itchy.
He keeps on trying to make me rub it! GROSS!
and all he wants to do is snuggle.... EEEK!

BUT
I will give him lots of tuna, love and snuggles even though I have a weak stomach...

My poor little Frankenstein!

  1. aww..poor baby. I'm glad he's okay though. That is crazy that they put tubes in his head. I'm not going to lie, it makes my stomach turn.
